Born and raised in Decatur, Illinois, Dr. Tegan Stoerger graduated from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana with a degree in Animal Sciences in 2006. She continued her education at her alma mater and graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2010. Her special interests include surgery, ophthalmology, dentistry and oncology. She looks forward to building strong, long-lasting relationships with her clients in and around the Champaign-Urbana community.
Dr. Stoerger resides in Champaign with her husband, Garrett, and enjoys their three miniature dachshunds: Minnie, Oliver and Max. Since childhood, Dr. Stoerger has strived to become a veterinarian, maintaining her own “zoo” consisting of dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, rabbits, fish, and hedgehogs. She has worked in various small animal hospitals, zoos, and livestock facilities throughout the years. Dr. Stoerger looks forward to making your pet’s life healthy and happy for years to come.
