Dr. Travis Rollason was born and raised in sunny San Diego, California. Travis earned his undergraduate degree in Biology at San Diego State University, graduating summa cum laude in 2012. While at SDSU, Dr. Rollason worked as a small animal veterinary assistant, and also participated in organized veterinary relief work to communities in Mexico. While there, he helped organize surgical procedures and provided medical supplies for animals in underserved areas. In 2017, Dr. Rollason achieved his lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian by completing his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the University California, Davis.
Dr. Rollason joined Animal Hospital At the Crossing as an associate veterinarian in 2019. He chose to join the team because its values align so well with his: Client relationships above all else. He considers pets as members of the family and believes that the human-animal bond is a very special component. He loves using modern medicine to improve the lives of both his clients and their furry friends. His interests in the field of veterinary medicine include ophthalmology, internal medicine, surgery, and preventative medicine.
Outside the hospital, Dr. Rollason enjoys personal time with his family, friends, and two pugs named Huckleberry and Abraham. His hobbies include exploring new hiking trails as well as traveling internationally to experience different cultures and taste different cuisines.
